Highlighting Army Challenge Coins
Often Army challenge coins are not talked about but rather just sold and traded. The fact is the Army is once of the strongest branches of the Armed Forces in the challenge coin niche. They produce some of the best coins available today and I don’t think many collectors know this. One of the most enjoyable things about collecting their coins is the fact that you can get very specific in collecting the branch areas. Some collector’s collect only Cavalry, or Special Ops, or maybe just SM coins. Either way I have found many collectors’ that thrive in collecting on Army coins.
Another great aspect about Army coins is the fact that where once before Air Force coins seem to multiply in display cases, the Army is starting to out gun them in production and awarding the coins. So what does this mean? It’s simple the more the Army continues to mint the wider the collecting ray becomes. This is a prime time to start collecting these coins. We see swings in coins that are hot such as Military Police one day or CID the next.
