Collecting Challenge Coins
In many cases people collect challenge coins because it reminds them of something they were once part of or something they wished they could have achieved. It’s a special thing that many are starting to open their eyes and see the world around them. I have found it to allow me to touch some of the very best people i have ever met in my life. Challenge coins give you an opportunity to reach across the internet and met someone who once served in the Army before you and talk about the current coins of the day. Of course talking about the current coins of the day does allow you to go above that with war stories or just reminiscing about the past.
Though it’s an Army challenge coin blog it doesn’t mean we can’t talk about collecting outside of our circle with Air Force coins, or any other branch. See it doesn’t matter what kind of collector you are, the hobby is meant to help explore new relationships with other people. This is the bigger aspect of challenge coi collecting and we just want you to think about that versus the next sale or the much more commercialized part of the hobby. So get out there and start looking at Police coins, Air Force coins, or even Fire Fighting Coins.
